Brenda Gutierrez

Brenda was born in Los Angeles and raised in Aurora, Illinois from the age of five. Growing up in a Hispanic household, she brings a deep understanding of the cultural and financial challenges faced by many immigrant and bilingual families. She has been with The Neighbor Project for the past eight years, serving in various roles including Administrative Assistant, Intake Specialist, and now as a HUD-certified Housing Counselor. Brenda recently became certified as an FEC Financial Coach, further expanding her ability to support clients on their path to financial empowerment. Her lived experiences and professional growth fuel her passion for helping others build stability, confidence, and long-term financial success.
